In the beginning, I did what I thought I was supposed to do. I followed the advice, bought the programs, hired the coaches, took the notes.
I wasn't the kind of client who coasted. I implemented everything I learned.
I went to every call ready to go. But when I asked for business advice, when I asked for insight about why my sales were slow I would get feedback like "oh you just need to reframe your thought" or "just have belief". I had pressing business questions that very rarely ever left me with clear answers.
I'd get the pep talk, get the framework, but when it came time to actually implement, it was still on me to figure it out.
I kept thinking I could buy my way to the missing link. That if I just invested in the right room, I'd unlock the version of success I was chasing.
What I didn't realize was that I wasn't missing anything. I was just asking the wrong question.
I stopped outsourcing the vision and started listening to the business I had already built. Instead of going outward I went Inward. What does my business need? What are my people saying they want.
I stopped mimicking other people’s strategies and created plans that were custom-fit to my brain, my energy, and my goals.
I deleted all the business podcasts, unsubscribed from the emails, and unfollowed on social. I did a massive deep dive into my business.
I studied my clients, their buying patterns, what made them choose me. But I wasn't just studying data - I was rebuilding from the ground up.
How I served clients, who I brought onto my team, how I structured everything. I invested in people who saw what I was building and who believed in my vision.
Layer by layer, I created a business that was completely aligned with how I actually wanted to grow.
