see a lot of people jump into entrepreneurship with both feet first. While I’m a firm believer that there is no real “ideal time” I do believe that there are some careful considerations to make before going full throttle. Even as a side hustle your business is time-consuming and will stretch you beyond your comfort zone. ⠀
⠀
HERE ARE SOME QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF ⠀
⠀
1. Do I have enough resources to support starting this business? You should have enough for either materials, tools, or basic startup costs for your business type.⠀
⠀
2. Do I have the mental capacity to take on this new project? While owning a business is hard you also have to realize there is never really ever a “perfect time”. If we are being honest with each other when is it ever ideal to have an expensive all-consuming project that will take you a while to make money from? Am I right or Am I right? Take inventory of your emotions and evaluate your headspace. ⠀
⠀
3. Have I truly evaluated what I want my business to be? The idea of “I’ll just start and learn as I go” is only going to hurt your business! You can read about my client’s experience with that ideology here.
⠀
Ps: Sometimes it’s hard to think about what you actually want. A little trick that I do is make a list of everything I don’t like and work back from there. Our brains sometimes have difficulty dreaming because we start with limiting beliefs. There is power in naming the things you won’t settle for.

If you’re struggling with finding the clarity you need in your business or are just too scared to start then come say hello. This is my zone of genius!
