When you first launch your business everyone tells you

Well guys…that's pretty freaking vague because ya girl knows alot.
My Bachelor's degree is in merchandising, my minor is in marketing and my 7+ year career spans across many different brands and campaigns. The question I really needed answered was not necessarily where to start but how?
How does one take a degree and 7+ years of knowledge and put it into offers people will understand let alone buy? It feels like an impossible answer to solve on your own…so I did what everyone does.
I tried to buy it. I bounced around from investment to investment and in less than a year had amassed 25 digital products, 2 courses, 3 webinars, 1 group coaching program, and many I can’t even bother to count.
I finally realized what people were telling me to do was not working. Everyone was teaching “just be a coach” even though I knew I wanted a blend of DFY and consulting. Everyone was teaching “just focus on selling one thing” even though I knew I didn’t want to shelf my other services.
No one…. and I do mean no one was teaching me how to be an agency owner. No one was talking about Multi-passionate brands with diverse offers, nor were they teaching how to sell them.
At the time I saw it as an expensive curse but now I realize it left the door wide open for me to test, fail, and learn the skillset that is encompassed in this consulting service. Through that experience I learned the importance of what it means to look inward and BECOME THE CEO. Once I did that the light bulb went off.
I started to make quality investments that were focused on me—not some copy and paste of someone else’s process. I hired 8 contractors each pro’s at their craft all while ditching the traditional corporate team structure. I became a master at Omni Channel Marketing while everyone was obsessed with Instagram. I successfully sold every service in my studio even though I had multiple types of buyers.
